Used for centuries, traditional Castile soaps, made only from olive oil, were renowned for their mild, moisturising properties, and popular with the royalty of Europe. Our Mother’s All-Natural Castile Hair & Body Wash is made only from the finest 100% Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed Olive Oil and no other oils, making it excellent on fine, sensitive or tired and stressed skin. The rich anti-oxidant qualities and unique skin-fortifying effects of Organic Pomegranate Extract help to protect and strengthen skin requiring greater care and ministering. This unique wash is gently handmade over days, using traditional techniques, and is free of preservatives, fragrances, colourings & foaming agents.

Excellent for mothers and mothers-to-be, and particularly on any skin experiencing tension, strain or stress and requiring a boost, this special formulation is a gentle and nourishing daily all-over hair, face and body wash that’s rich, protective and rejuvenating.
Directions
Wet hair and skin thoroughly then place a small amount on a sponge or palm of hand. Apply gently, stroking into skin and avoiding contact with eyes. Rinse with water. To lather, work-up with a washcloth before applying. To use as a shampoo, apply directly to scalp and massage in gently with fingertips, wash thoroughly down hair. Gentle enough to be used on normal hair without the need for conditioners. Alternatively, add directly to bathwater. Suitable for irritated skin, dry hair or scalp or those sensitive to chemicals. May be used on skin affected by hives, eczema or psoriasis.

Note: The pomegranate used in our Mother’s Wash is a premium food-grade organic pomegranate extract, not a pomegranate perfume or scent. The organic pomegranate extract used comes mainly from the skin of the pomegranate, which has the highest level of antioxidants, and lends a mild tea-like fragrance.
All oils used by Four Cow Farm are premium extra-virgin cold-pressed quality and all preservatives and emulsifiers used are premium food-grade.

Our pure castile washes are made from ONLY Australian-grown extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil. That’s the very highest foodgrade quality of oil available, one usually used on salads and in food.
Our olive oil is sourced from farms right here in Australia. We don't use any palm or coconut oils which can be harsh on sensitive skin.
Luxuriously Gentle
Our castile wash is super-fatted. That means that extra olive oil is added to the soap (more than necessary). That creates a super-soft and velvety soap, which is extra gentle on the skin and scalp.
They’re cooked for over a week. Yes, over a week! That means that they’re luxuriously gentle as the longer a soap is cooked, the gentler and more moisturing it is.
They're Simple by Design
Each of our castile washes has only four ingredients. Just four! They’re so special that no additives or fillers are used. They are slightly alkali which makes them excellent cleansers.
Each castile wash is made to focus on its key ingredients plus the herbal extract or essential oil used. Less is definitely more when it comes to a true castile wash.
